We Brought Our Handmade Flowers to Talamban for the ANAKK 1TAHANAN 11th Anniversary
What a day. 🎉
Last Sunday, September 20, 2026, FleurKraft packed up the car in Minglanilla and drove all the way to The Family Park in Talamban, Cebu City to join the 11th Anniversary celebration of ANAKK 1TAHANAN.
It was our booth, our handmade creations, and a whole lot of people we'd never met before — which is exactly the kind of day we love.
From Minglanilla to Talamban
If you know Cebu traffic, you know that Minglanilla to Talamban is not a casual trip. It's across the city and then some.
But we've always said that being a home-based handmade business in Minglanilla doesn't mean we stay in Minglanilla. Our bouquets already go out to Cebu City, Mandaue, Talisay, Consolacion, and Lapu-Lapu through delivery — so showing up in person in Talamban just felt right.
Every single thing on that table was made by hand, in our home workshop, by us.
What We Brought to the Booth
We wanted the table to feel like a little garden that people could actually touch, so we brought a mix of our smaller handmade pieces:
Flower keychains — our most popular "grab one" item. Tiny fuzzy wire flowers turned into keychains you can clip onto a bag, a zipper, or your keys. Cheap enough to buy on impulse, cute enough that people bought three.
Mini flower pots — our fuzzy wire mini pot flowers in a whole range of colors. They sit on a desk or a shelf and never need water, never wilt, never drop petals.
Flower headbands — the surprise hit of the day, especially with the kids. Handmade fuzzy wire blooms on a headband, in colors they got to pick themselves.
And more — assorted single stems and small arrangements for anyone who wanted to bring home something bigger.
The Best Part Was the People
Here's the thing about selling online: you see orders, not faces.
At the booth, we got the faces.
Kids crouched at the edge of the table taking a genuinely serious amount of time to choose between the pink keychain and the lilac one. Parents asking how the flowers are made and whether the colors fade (they don't). Lolas picking up a mini pot, turning it over in their hands, and saying "gibuhat ninyo ni? Nindot kaayo."
That's the part you can't get from a Facebook message thread. Watching someone pick their favorite color in person is a completely different kind of feeling.
